Through accessing or using TravelerBuddy you express your acceptance about our collection, use, and disclosure of your information in accordance with this Policy. This Policy does not cover information collected elsewhere, including, without limitation, offline or on sites linked to through TravelerBuddy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such third parties. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of those third parties. What Information We Collect from You
When you register with TravelerBuddy, we ask for your email address and password as well as first and last name. To effectively use our service, we may collect further personal data and travel information e.g. your government issued travel document (ex. Passport, international driver’s license, VISA etc.) details, known traveler information such as home location, phone numbers, additional email addresses.

TravelerBuddy collects personal data and travel information for the following reasons (upon your approval):
- To register and administer an account
- To create your travel itinerary
- To create your expense report
- To receive information, confirmations, alerts, notifications and suggestions
- To support you while traveling by using your stored user data
- To share itinerary information with people in your social networks
- To customize the service for you
- To send service or promotional materials via email, mobile and web notifications
- To provide customer support
- To bill you for premium services and subscriptions of which you have ordered
You may also invite friends to share itinerary information with you and vice versa. In these instances, we collect your friend's email address for the sole purpose of forwarding the invitation (to download the app and to see your itinerary) to them. TravelerBuddy does not store this information. Your friend may contact us at email@example.com to request that we remove this information from our database. If those friends register for the service, we collect their personal information as above.
How do we secure information?
The security of your personal information is important to us. TravelerBuddy will take reasonable precautions to ensure that your personal information is protected against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. When you enter sensitive information (such as travel document details or a credit card number) on our order forms, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. When you place orders or access your personal account information, you're utilizing secure server software SSL, which encrypts your personal information before it's sent over the Internet. SSL is one of the safest encryption technologies available.
Information We Automatically Collect About Visits and Usage
For all Site visitors or App users, not just registered users, we use analytics, including analytics conducted by third-party services, to help analyze how the Services are used, what errors users encounter when using our Services, whether they act on or open emails sent by TravelerBuddy, and what other sites they used prior to coming to the Site. Through cookies and scripts we collect information to improve our site and your user experience, such as remembering you when you return and log in, reducing the time it takes for you to create an itinerary, and knowing which of our web pages are visited and which services are most often used. Such collected information can be IP address, device identifier, browser type, device type, domain name, access times, duration of visit, referring URL, platform, new and repeat information, time stamp, exit page information, and other information about how you use the Service.
When you download, and use our Services, we automatically collect information on the type of device you use, operating system version, device type and system performance information.
We use mobile analytics software to allow us to better understand the functionality of our Mobile Software on your phone. This software may record information such as how often you use the application, the events that occur within the application, aggregated usage, performance data, and where the application was downloaded from. We do not link the information we store within the analytics software to any personally identifiable information you submit within the mobile application.
We may collect precise geolocation data through our services, 3rd party services or from you directly. We may use this information to search for information you may need for example, to provide you with offers or opportunities based upon your location and travel plans. You may opt-out of location based services at any time by editing the setting at the device level or by emailing us at email@example.com.
When we execute such searches on your behalf we do not transfer your identity or personal information to third parties. We will only share this information with our mapping provider for the sole purpose of providing you this service. The transmission of this information is done via secure socket layer technology (SSL).
We may occasionally send you push notifications to send you updates and other service related notifications that may be of importance to you. You may at any time opt-out from receiving these types of communications by turning them off partially or completely at the device level through your settings.
What do we do with your Social Media Information?
For those users who wish to share their itinerary information with their Social Media network, we collect the email and password you use as Social Media login credentials. We display, but do not collect, information of your Social Media Connections in order for you to invite them to join the TravelerBuddy service and to search for your Connections based on their location. The flight, car rental, hotel, transportation and meeting details etc. of your itinerary that you shared with TravelerBuddy will not be made public, however, your Social Media Connections and anyone else visiting your Social Media profile page will see the destination and dates of your current or future trips within TravelerBuddy. Furthermore, periodic updates such as trip creation and landing at a destination will be communicated on your Social Media profile page in near real time if you choose to enable automatic publishing of this information. You can always decide to make a trip Private - in which case information about it will not be shared, or make all trips private by selecting that option in the website under My Profile - My Profile Settings. To disconnect your Social Media account from TravelerBuddy altogether you can change your password on Social Media. This will stop us from having any access to your Social Media information and vice versa.
Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
What Information Others May Collect about You
Other third parties may collect information about you through our Services, including personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our Services. We describe some of those activities below, but understand that our Policy does not cover these or any other third parties, their products, actions, or their services. What we do with the information you share
We will share your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement. When you use the Service, your personal information and your travel information will be shared with the third parties you designate for access to such information, including other noncobranded companies, websites, mobile applications, your friends, relatives, and business associates. You may change who has access to your information by going to your account settings and then changing your publishing options. TravelerBuddy occasionally allows other companies to offer our registered customers information about their products and services, using their e-mail only. If you do not want to receive these offers, you may opt-out to receive marketing materials from third parties by using their provided unsubscribe link or by writing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Traveler Buddy Group Pte Ltd will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary:
- When we believe, it is appropriate to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal or suspected illegal activities; to protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of TravelerBuddy, our users, or others; and in connection with the enforcement of our terms, contracts, and User Agreement.

- With third-party business firms contracted to provide specific services to us, such as a credit card processing company, email messaging providers, SMS providers, mapping provider (geo-location) for the purpose of them servicing you ads for places (such as restaurants) in your area and other third parties that perform services on our behalf as a part of the Service. In addition to the uses described in this policy, we may use personal information about you to create and maintain your travel itineraries and your travel profile, send you marketing messages about our Services and products and services of our partners, and otherwise provide you with and improve the Services. We also use the information that we gather to personalize and customize experience, content, marketing, and recommendations across all our Services, including to target content on our Services to more closely match your interests and, if you have selected to receive email communication from us, target email marketing messages that are more appropriate to your needs. We may use your personal information to respond to your comments and questions and provide customer service; send you information related to your requests and purchases, including confirmations, invoices, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages; communicate with you about contests, promotions, rewards, upcoming events, and process and deliver contest entries and rewards; link or combine your personal information with other information we get about your use of other Services and from third parties to help understand you and your needs, and provide you with recommendations, better service, and customized marketing; and protect, investigate, and deter against fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity.
How to opt-out of our email messages

Some emails are sent by TravelerBuddy in response to your activity in the system. You can log in to our site using sign-in services such as Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter. These services will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain personal information with us such as your name and email address etc. to pre-populate our sign up form. Services like Facebook Connect give you the option to post information about your activities on this Web site to your profile page to share with others within your network.
Deleting your personal information on TravelerBuddy
If you decide you would like to delete all your information on TravelerBuddy, you can always close your account by contacting email@example.com and requesting to delete your account. Our service team will contact you to verify your identity before closing the account.
What Choices Are Available to You on Our Services
We think that you benefit from a more personalized experience when we know more about you and your TravelerBuddy experiences. However, in some cases you can limit the information you provide to us, and you can limit the communications that we send to you.
Registration is mandatory to use our services. If you choose not to register, certain features of the Service and sections of our Site may be inaccessible, but you will be able view the main pages of the Site. Registration and log-in are required to prepare an itinerary using our Service.
Upon request TravelerBuddy will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your personal information. In the settings section, you may make changes to or delete inaccuracies in your account and change your password and application settings, or contact information such as your name, email address, and billing address. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe.

TravelerBuddy collects information under the direction of its Clients, and has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. We may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the service agreements with our Clients.
TravelerBuddy acknowledges that you have the right to access your personal information. TravelerBuddy has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct his query to the Traveler Buddy’s Client (the data controller). If requested to remove data we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
We will retain personal data (including geo-location data) we process on behalf of our Clients for as long as needed to provide services to our Client. TravelerBuddy will retain this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
