- We will not sell or disclose your name, mail address, phone number, email address or any other information pertaining to you to anyone without your permission.
- We will use state-of-the-art security measures to protect your information from unauthorized users.
Please read this Policy carefully. It is our goal to provide you with information that is tailored to your individual needs and, at the same time, respect your privacy. Through accessing or using TravelerBuddy you express your acceptance about our collection, use, and disclosure of your information in accordance with this Policy. This Policy does not cover information collected elsewhere, including, without limitation, offline or on sites linked to through TravelerBuddy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such third parties. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of those third parties. What Information We Collect from You
When you register with TravelerBuddy, we ask for your email address and password as well as your first and last name. In order to effectively use our service, we may collect further personal data and travel information e.g. your government issued travel document details, known traveler information such as home location, phone numbers, additional email addresses.
The transmission of your credit card information and transactions are secured with SSL standard, using GoDaddy.
TravelerBuddy collects personal information (upon your approval) for the following reasons:
- To register and administer an account
- To receive information, confirmations, alerts, notifications and suggestions
- To support you while traveling by using your stored user data
- To share itinerary information with people in your social networks
- To customize the service for you
- To send service or promotional materials via email, mobile and web notifications
- To provide customer support
- To bill you for premium services and subscriptions of which you have ordered
You may also invite friends to share itinerary information with you and vice versa. In these instances we collect your friend's email address for the sole purpose of forwarding the invitation (to download the app and to see your itinerary) to them. TravelerBuddy does not store this information. Your friend may contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to request that we remove this information from our database. If those friends register for the service, we collect their personal information as above.
How Do We Secure Information?
The security of your personal information is important to us. TravelerBuddy will take reasonable precautions to ensure that your personal information is protected against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. When you enter sensitive information (such as travel document details or a credit card number) on our order forms, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We guarantee your e-commerce transactions to be 100% safe and secure. When you place orders or access your personal account information, you are utilizing secure server software SSL, which encrypts your personal information before it is sent over the Internet. Information We Automatically Collect About Visits and Usage
For all Site visitors or App users, not just registered users, we use analytics, including analytics conducted by third-party services, to help analyze how the Services are used, what errors users encounter when using our Services, whether they act on or open emails sent by TravelerBuddy, and what other sites they used prior to coming to the Site. Through cookies and scripts we collect information to improve our site and your user experience, such as remembering you when you return and log in, reducing the time it takes for you to create an itinerary, and knowing which of our web pages are visited and which services are most often used. Such collected information can be IP address, device identifier, browser type, device type, domain name, access times, duration of visit, referring URL, platform, new and repeat information, time stamp, exit page information, and other information about how you use the Service. We do not disclose, sell or rent your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.
We may collect precise geolocation data through our Services or from you directly. We may use this information to search for information you may need for example, to provide you with offers or opportunities based upon your location and travel plans.
When we execute such searches on your behalf we do not transfer your identity or personal information to third parties. The transmission of this information is done via secure socket layer technology (SSL).
We may occasionally send you push notifications through our mobile applications to send you updates and other service related notifications that may be of importance to you. You may at any time opt-out from receiving these types of communications by turning them off partially or completely at the device level through your settings.
What Do We Do with Your LinkedIn Information?
For those users who wish to share their itinerary information with their LinkedIn network, we collect the email and password you use as LinkedIn login credentials. We display, but do not collect, information of your LinkedIn Connections in order for you to invite them to join the TravelerBuddy service and to search for your Connections based on their location. The flight, car rental, hotel, transportation and meeting details etc. of your itinerary that you shared with TravelerBuddy will not be made public, however, your LinkedIn Connections and anyone else visiting your LinkedIn profile page will see the destination and dates of your current or future trips within TravelerBuddy. Furthermore, periodic updates such as trip creation and landing at a destination will be communicated on your LinkedIn profile page in near real time if you choose to enable automatic publishing of this information. You can always decide to make a trip Private - in which case information about it will not be shared, or make all trips private by selecting that option in the website under My Profile - My Profile Settings. To disconnect your LinkedIn account from TravelerBuddy altogether you can change your password on LinkedIn. This will stop us from having any access to your LinkedIn information and vice versa.

What Information Others May Collect about You
Other third parties may collect information about you through our Services, including personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our Services. We describe some of those activities below, but understand that our Policy does not cover these or any other third parties, their products, actions, or their services. Third-Party Sign-In and Social-Media Features
You can log in to our Services using sign-in services provided by third parties, including certain third-party social networking platforms. Certain third-party services we may feature through our Services give you social media options to interact with buttons or widgets that let you like information or post information about your activities from our Site to third party sites and platforms publicly or within your network. These services will share certain personal information with us as described in the sign-in notices or in their privacy policies. We collect the email and password you use as login credentials. With this you will be able to share your itinerary with your network.
What We Do with the Information You Share
When you use the Service, your personal information and your travel information will be shared with the third parties you designate for access to such information, including other companies, websites, mobile applications, your friends, relatives, and business associates. You may change who has access to your information by going to your account settings and then changing your publishing options. TravelerBuddy occasionally allows other companies to offer our registered customers information about their products and services, using their e-mail only. If you do not want to receive these offers, you may opt-out to receive marketing materials from third parties.
TravelerBuddy Group Pte Ltd will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the belief that such action is necessary:
- When we believe it is appropriate to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal or suspected illegal activities; to protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of TravelerBuddy, our users, or others; and in connection with the enforcement of our terms, contracts, and User Agreement.
- In connection with a corporate transaction, such as a divestiture, merger, acquisition, consolidation, or asset sale (or the negotiation thereof), or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy. We may assign or transfer your information as part of the transaction.
- With third-party business firms contracted to provide specific services to us, such as a credit card processing company, email messaging providers, SMS providers, and other third parties that perform services on our behalf as a part of the Service.
- As required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Site.
- From time to time, we also may share general information about our Services, users, and visitors such as the number of visitors, aggregate and/or non-personally identifiable demographic and travel data, etc., with third parties (including with your employer, if your account was provided through your employer). We may also post customer feedback on the Site from time to time along with your first name and last initial.

Inside the company, data is stored in password-controlled servers with limited access. Your information may be stored and processed in Singapore or any other country where TravelerBuddy Group Pte Ltd, its subsidiaries, affiliates or agents are located.
How to Opt-Out of Our Email Messages
If you would like to stop receiving email newsletters from us, you can click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. Some emails are sent by TravelerBuddy in response to your activity in the system. If you do not want to receive these, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to request for the notifications to be removed.
Links to Other Web Sites
You can log in to our site using sign-in services such as Facebook Connect, LinkedIn or Twitter. These services will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain personal information with us such as your name and email address etc. to pre-populate our sign up form. Services like Facebook Connect give you the option to post information about your activities on this Web site to your profile page to share with others within your network.
Deleting Your Personal Information on TravelerBuddy
If you decide you would like to delete all of your information on TravelerBuddy, you can always close your account by contacting email@example.com and request to delete your account. Our service team will contact you to verify your identify before closing the account.
How Your Information Is Protected
We maintain data handling and storage practices and procedures that are designed to promote the integrity and confidentiality of the personally identifiable information. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, however. Registration is mandatory to use our services. If you choose not to register, certain features of the Service and sections of our Site may be inaccessible, but you will be able view the main pages of the Site. Registration and log-in are required to prepare an itinerary using our Service. In the Settings section, you may make changes to, or delete inaccuracies in your account and change your password and application settings or contact information such as your name, email address, and billing address. We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you wish to cancel your account, modify your information, or request that we no longer use your information to provide you the Service, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
